Small Customs, Modular Cabinets and Remodels
It is easiest and most compelling for us to take pictures of our big custom cabinet installations. In part because we dedicate a lot of time and energy in terms of innovation and research to the custom cabinets in the bigger and high end homes, and in part because they photograph well. As a byproduct we may give the impression that we only want to build and install cabinets for the high end or large home. However, this is not the case. We exist to make cabinets and to help home owners, remodelers, and builders create excellent modern and convenient kitchens regardless of the size. We have resources available for the remodeler, the do-it-yourselfer, and the high-end custom builder.

Concerto Lofts Project by Warmington Homes
The models at Concerto Lofts in Playa Vista, CA feature cabinets by W.L. Rubottom Company. We built these cabinets in a modified flush overlay style with a frameless box. The benefit of this construction method is that it is economical because it utilizes our frameless manufacturing methods, but sophisticated and modern in its styling. This is a cabinet we can produce for a custom project, a remodel, or a large project such as Concerto Lofts.

W.L. Rubottom Company, Cabinetmakers has been in the business of building cabinets for new homes and remodels since 1946. We started in the garage of our founder, Wilbur Rubottom, in the LA region and moved to Ventura in 1958. Since then we’ve grown to become one of the largest cabinet manufacturers on the Southern and Central coast between L.A. and San Jose. We are set up to provide cabinets to custom and production homes and kitchens in Ventura County, Santa Barbara County, Santa Maria County, Los Angeles County, and San Luis Obispo County.
We have evolved from a small cabinetmaker to a large manufacturer over our decades of operation and can offer products and services that cannot be easily matched by big-box retailers, small shops, or even kitchen dealers. Everything that comes out of our facility is custom made and finished in our 50,000 square foot modern plant in Ventura. Our personnel, including our experienced installation crew, are all local members of the community. Due to our size and location our turn-around time from design to installation is very rapid. And we are able to offer competitive prices because there is no middle-man to mark up the price of our product.
