This kitchen was a satisfying challenge. One of the main tasks we really agonized over was getting the refrigerator, the small windows, and the hood to line up in the center of the opening from the living room. The hood and refrigerator were fixed dimensions, so it was a challenge to get it to all line up properly.

What you lose in storage with beaded flush fit cabinetry, you gain in elegance. Invest in a pot rack. For the island we built a custom base without a toe kick and integrated these columns.

Really lovely run of drawers. That long base cabinet is a single cabinet. Hearkening back to the good old days.
