Fall 2010 Ventura Home ShowAug. 30th

Once again, the Home Show is coming to Ventura, and Rubottom Cabinets will be there again.  The dates are September 17-19.

One of the great things about the show for us is that it gives people a chance to actually see and feel our cabinets.  We've created a full-sized kitchen with in-cabinet accessories such as roll-outs, spice racks, soft-close drawers, baskets, and a pantry system that defies description, granite counters (thanks to Celestine) and really fine appliances (thanks to Reid's).  It's advantageous for us to have our customers see and connect with our cabinets in real life, and it's great for our customers to clearly define their expectations for cabinets.

Here's a link to what I originally wrote about our display; its design and inception.  We will have a full-sized kitchen with some an array of built-in accessories such as pantry and spice pull-outs, drawer organizers, wine storage, and full-sized appliances courtesy of Reids.

Ventura County Spring 2010 Home and Garden ShowMar. 01st

W.L. Rubottom will be showing our product at the Ventura Home and Garden show. The Santa Barbara show was a big success.  We were pleased with the decision to build a full size kitchen with appliances from Reids and granite tops from Celestine to show off the quality and capabilities of our product. It takes the capacity of a production shop with a deep knowledge of custom kitchen cabinets to be able to build a mobile cabinet display of such size, and we'll be at it again in Ventura.  The dates of the show are March 19-21.  Stop on by and visit us.  If you need tickets call us at (805) 648-6943 or contact us via the contact page.

Click here to read more about our display and to see the original cabinet drawings of the design.

Check the blog in the future for photos from the Santa Barbara show.

Santa Barbara Home and Garden ShowJan. 22nd

The Santa Barbara Home and Garden show is just around the corner.  Rubottom Cabinets will, of course, be there. The show runs from February 27th - 28th at the Earl Warren Showgrounds in Santa Barbara.  Please come out to the show, we'd love to see you and discuss your project.  We will have our designers on hand, and, if it's not too busy, we'll discuss your project and possibly do some drawing on the computer.  Bring your measurements on a sheet of paper -- the more details the better, and cutouts from magazines or from our website with kitchen design ideas and questions.

The W.L. Rubottom Cabinets Display

We are planning on showing a complete kitchen with appliances.  We are developing it now.  Our goal is to show an elegant, custom kitchen design.  The design we're working on is full size and demonstrates the advantages of having truly custom kitchen cabinets produced by a local and modern cabinet maker.  In the interest of explaining our design thoughts for this show and to demonstrate how we put a custom kitchen project together from inception to drawing to manufacturing, I've scanned in the drawings below.  Click here to check out our working drawings.
